Festive opening of SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2017

The 19th SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN is starting with a lot of highlights: Yesterday, 25 September, SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2017 officially opened its doors to the trade public. Around 1,000 exhibitors from 41 nations are presenting their eagerly awaited ranges on offer – including numerous world premieres.

The festive start which featured guests from the sporting, political and economic fields and was compered by Rudi Cerne took place on Sunday  evening already. The items on the agenda included, amongst others, the presentation of the EWM Award “Physics of Welding” for well-versed young scientists and a talk circle with the beach volleyball stars Laura Ludwig and Kira Walkenhorst.
